Morphik replaced it's 20th job last week. It made me want to clarify my thoughts on our mission. Also a good opportunity to give this writing thing a shot.

Reflecting on Morphik's mission

I was speaking with a friend recently, and I told him with pride that Morphik just saved a customer half a million dollars. He congratulated me, "You know you just caused a drop in global GDP, right?". Everytime we've signed a contract since then, I've asked myself: is this going to drop the world’s GDP? More often than not, the response has been yes.
